    Explain why you are interested in the position, and the reasons you believe that you are well suited to be a Port & Shopping Presenter.  Please include your earliest available date for training and work.  
  2. Updated Resume
  3. Audition Video Tape or DVD
    (5-10 minutes in duration, only standard size VHS tapes and DVD's will be viewed and considered)
    • Purpose: To assess your public speaking and persuasive abilities.
    • Label: Clearly label your tape with your name and date of submission
    • Your presentation style should be entertaining, informative, and persuasive. Showcase your public speaking ability and your personality – please remember that you are applying for a SALES POSITION.
    • We will not base our decisions on the production quality of your audition video (it is not required to be professionally recorded and edited).  Our focus is not on content of the video, but more importantly on the quality of your personal presentation skills. 
    • Please note that videos will not be returned.  

Shopping Presenters

Part of the process in applying to The PPI Group is submitting an audition video/DVD. We are seeking dynamic public speakers will the ability to sell luxury goods, souvenirs and destinations. Pretend you are speaking to a room of over 1,000 cruise guests. We want to see your personality shine through, as well as your ability to motivate and excite large groups of cruise guests to shop in the various ports of call at the recommended stores ashore.

Please prepare a 5 minutes audition video. Please introduce yourself and give a brief description of why you should be considered as a potential Shopping Presenter. The majority of your video should focus on your ability to sell. Please chose from the following list and “sell” us the product. Although you are not required to be well educated on these specific products, it is your chance to convince us of your potential to convey confidence and credibility, as well as sales ability. Please choose from the following to present:

  1. Lipstick
  2. Manolo Blahnik shoes
  3. St. Thomas Virgin Islands (as a vacation destination)
  4. Rum cakes
  5. Turkish rugs
  6. Diamonds or gemstones
